ORDER CONFIRMATION
Orders require a 50% deposit within 5 days of quote and no later than 2 weeks prior to collection.
If an order is made for less than 2 weeks time, full payment is required.
The order is not confirmed until a deposit is received, and your cake date may be offered to other customers after the quote expiry.

Read the description and collection date with care to ensure it meets your event needs.
Please note* while every effort is made to avoid cross contamination of allergen ingredients, we do produce cakes with these and cannot 100% guarantee their absence.

Payment can be made into Birdsong Kitchen's bank account

Please advise a mobile contact number as a backup, if you didn't make contact via our website enquiry form. These details will be kept confidential and will not be shared with other businesses. Sharing of your details and/or paying a deposit is considered to be indication of acceptance of these terms and conditions.
CANCELLATIONS
If Birdsong Kitchen has to cancel your order, for whatever reason, the full deposit/payment will be refunded.
If the customer cancels the order within 7 days of collection date, for whatever reason, full payment less 50% will be refunded. If the customer cancels within 3 days of collection date, 100% of the quoted price will not be refunded.
Where possible, a postponement date will be arranged.
This takes into consideration pre-purchased ingredients and materials, time lost for planning, communications, or other bookings that were declined for your order.
COLLECTION
Collection point is 11 Ford Mews Springston. Friday collection is between 3.30pm and 6pm. Saturday 9-10am (Sept-Mar) and 1-2pm (April-Aug)/other day collection by arrangement.
The rights to photographs of your order taken by Birdsong Kitchen belong to Birdsong Kitchen, and may be shared to our social media accounts or used for advertising after your event. Please communicate in writing if you wish your cake photo/video not to be shared.
CAKE CARE
Once the order is in your possession it is up to you to follow the storage instructions to ensure a pleasant eating experience.
Cakes need to be handled and transported carefully. Always carry with one hand under the base of the box and the other on a base edge. Transport on a flat surface. Someones lap or on a car seat is not flat. The passenger footwell or car boot (without objects to fall on the box) are the most suitable spaces. Please leave your dog at home.
In the rare event something goes wrong with the order once it has left our location, please contact me on (03)338 1169 as I may be able to help.
