REFUND POLICY
Birdsong Kitchen takes pride in offering high quality products and amazing customer service.
Birdsong Kitchen builds cakes to travel – instructions for transporting your cake are included in the Terms and Conditions when placing an order. Birdsong Kitchen cannot be held responsible for damage to the cake after delivery or pick up.
Any problem with your cake must be reported back to Birdsong Kitchen within seven (7) days of the event or pick up. For refund purposes - Birdsong Kitchen requires the faulty cake to be returned to our premises within 3 days of the event. Please note there are no refunds offered if there is no cake left for us to check.
A refund will be considered if the wrong cake was received i.e. Cars Cake instead of motorbike, the cake was damaged before leaving Birdsong Kitchen, or names misspelled beyond cosmetic repair.
Once the cake leaves our premises we consider this to be agreement of the design elements of the cake ( style, colour, general decoration). Refunds may not be given for artistic interpretation of how you thought the end product should look or should taste.
If you are adding your own flowers, or any other decoration to your cake then we can no longer guarantee the safety and hygiene of the cake and are no longer responsible for it.
Force Majeure
In any event such as natural disaster, pandemic, or large scale situation beyond our control refunds will not be provided.
Any refunds given are given in accordance with the above information, at our discretion, and may be a credit or partial/full cash refund.
